School Development Plan 2024-2025

To ensure the flourishing of all through enhancing spiritual development and mental well-being across the curriculum and the deepening the awareness of world faiths. 

To improve the teaching and learning of speaking & listening, phonics, reading and writing across school with a focus on greater depth.

To enhance outdoor provision, learning opportunities alongside roles and responsibilities. 

To develop leadership at all levels through mentoring, coaching, CPD, monitoring and interventions with a focus on foundation subjects- Design Technology, Music, French and Art and Design. 

 

To support all staff to implement Teaching for Mastery (TfM) approaches in their daily teaching and improve the retention of pupils’ mathematical knowledge.  

School Catorgorisation 2023-2024 (Tameside Local Authority Letter)

The Tameside Primary School Performance and Standards Policy 2023-2024 sets out the Local Authority’s duty to support and challenge all of its schools in accordance with the Schools Causing Concern Guidance July 2023 and in preparation for the LA’s Annual Conversation with Ofsted.

In line with the Primary School Performance and Standards Policy issued with this letter, and in consultation with schools and Tameside Primary Consortium, please find below formal notification of your school’s LA categorisation.

Your school’s categorisation is category 1.

Your school has been identified as being category one. This indicates that the school is in a strong position across a range of data including the significant increase in GLD outcomes. We would like to thank staff for their continuing hard work for the children of Tameside and hope that as a school you will continue to share your practice and support through the wider system.
